As we are approaching Iron Pax Challenge 2020, I wanted to try some things that had the potential to cause some IPC worthy pain. The ground was nice and moist, so I initially wanted to move the workout to the parking lot, but ten other studs showed up ready to get after it.
Disclaimer was given
The work was as follows….
-Warmup – 20 SSH, 15 cut the grass
Cones were set 10 yards apart with a total of 50 yards marked off, and every retrieved a block
-Leaving the block at one end of the cones, run to the last cone and do 10 high to low planks
-Run back to the start and do 10 leg lifts over the block the hard way (20 total)
-Block hop to the next cone, run to the end, and repeat the high to low planks
-Run back to blocks, 10 over block leg lifts, hop to next cone, etc…..
Continue this trend until you’ve hopped all the way to the other end, and finish with one last set of planks and leg lifts.
THEN we worked our way back by doing the following…..
Block hop to cone, 10 side block merkins the hard way (20 total)
Run to opposite end, 10 V-ups, run back to block
Hop to next block, 10 side block merkins, run to end, V-ups, run back…..
Continue this trend to back to where we started, and finish with one last set of merkins and V-ups.
We finished with a 21-15-9 of pullups, merkins, and big boys.
Recover called, and blocks were returned.

Announcements- Iron Pax is coming, and you should be signed up.
Toothpick has his long awaited VQ tomorrow at Talon, and I’m back at it again at Fury. Pick your poison (it’ll sting less than fartsacking).
Prayer was given
As always, I was pleased to see a great group of men come out and do the harder thing with their morning. Things got a little confusing once we started working our way back down the ladder of cones, but we figured it out.
It was nice to meet Cleo for the first time this morning. I hope he joins us more often. All men put in good work this morning, but that’s nothing new with this group of guys. You can’t do nothing but get better when you surround yourself with these fellas.
Back to coloring for me,
