6 PAX decided to get their week started off right at Terrapin. Conditions were perfect although I still haven’t figured out why the ground is always wet at Terrapin. I wanted to go with a no nonsense workout today. Back 2 years ago when I first starting Q’ing, I liked to utilize the DORA 1,2,3 a lot bc I feel like it keeps folks engaged and adds that comradery element to the workout. I had gone away from DORA in an attempt to add some creativity over the past several months but decided to bring a straightforward DORA back today.
Warmup
30 Pull-ups OYO (Sunshine arrived about halfway through and completed the work)
Pacer had to “check on something’ at the restroom facilities during the warmup, but made it back for DORA. Unfortunately, at this point we only had 5 PAX so Pacer was odd man out. (More to come on this)
Partner Up
Dora 1, 2, 3
Work is cumulative. P1 works, Partner 2 runs to end of field (approximately 50-60yds) and performs 10 LBCs and returns.
100 Burpees
(Out of the dark, a FNG appears. We instruct him to jump in with Pacer. What a terrible way to get initiated)

300 Merkins

Ab Work
15 to 1
15 Big Boi Situps, 15 Flutters (count right leg only), 15 V-ups
Repeat but 14 reps on round 2. Work your way down a rep on each subsequent round.
Time was called after 10 minutes of work.
COT/BOM
- We kid about being late, but I am a firm believer that being late is better than not being there at all.
- Shoulders begging for mercy after 300 merkins during DORA
- Welcome FNG Royal Flush (we went easy on him in the naming process). Hope you come back.
- Sunshine continues to reduce carbon footprint by moseying 1.5miles to and from workout.
