A solid group of 7 to start the week off right; a veritable Pantheon of Pax with 4 Spartans amongst us lower ranks. I knew I was going to have to up the suck factor so no one was bored, so I compiled a collection of the worst:

(the wheels fell off this one pretty quickly as folks started losing count…)

BURPEE BROAD JUMP
3 burpees / 3 broad jumps to manhole (~25 yds?)

INDIAN BEARCRAWL
(I heard BenGay exclaim ‘yessss’ under his breath when this was called…)
Two lines head-to-heel, line is constantly performing Merkins while last PAX bearcrawls to the front. Repeat until stop sign reached (~25 yds?)
(This was just absurd. Definitely gonna do it again…)

JACOB’S LADDER
7 trips up the hill with burpees at the top, starting with and increasing by 2 (1st trip = 2 burpees…7th trip = 14 burpees)
(This was equally absurd. Everyone was quite lathered after…)

NMM – I’ve been successfully EH’d into next year’s Spartan race and this workout proved I have a long way to go. Regardless of the absurdity, I can think of no better group of gentlemen to embrace the worst with.
