This has been a record breaking week in The Wood and Wednesday did not disappoint!
YHC has continued to push the PAX of F3Greenwood to come out and join the run groups. YHC has even offered free coffee for first comers for the Wednesday Starbucks 5K. It’s worth a cup of coffee to YHC to get the PAX out and running to continuing to #getbetter. Thus far the new comers have continued to defeat the #fartsack and get out to run. We had a record run group crowd this am in the #gloom with 21 PAX posting for the Wednesday Starbucks 5K!
On top of all that we actually had a girl invade our run. Capri gets out of the car and whips our a stroller and YHC is thinking I’m not going to fit in that but it wasn’t it was for Capri’s little girl who wouldn’t sleep. Being the great husband he is and being determined to take the #redpill he brought her along in the #gloom to give the M a break and some sleep hopefully.
Conditions: 72 Degrees with only 80% Humidity (Muggy Sweatfest none the less)
Route: Leave Starbucks and run up to CountyBank, turn past bank and run down service road (YHC doesn’t know names of roads, as Juggernaut so kindly pointed out and told me the names but I’ve forgotten already, so I use landmaks and talk with my hands, can you see what I’m saying here), turning at Advanced Auto and coming back out on Hwy 72, then turn by Waffle House (it was smelling good this am), run up the dreaded hill and turn back on Main Street (I know that name, if its right) and its a short mosey back to Starbucks. 3.2 Miles
Countorama (you need a pen and paper to remember all the names for the run groups now, thankfully Juggernaut is always ready to record a story, careful what you say around that guy men)
Nameorama Welcome FNG’s Nemo and Poncharelli
