True story – I once saw Johnny Paycheck in concert and of course he encored the song, “Take this Job and shove it”.  Quality stuff.

That said, today we were at Red Friday to honor someone different, Ryan Job.  Read about this guy here:  https://www.fallenheroesproject.org/united-states/ryan-job/

6 guys got up early and answered the bell.  And by early I mean 5:15am.  I had inadvertently tweeted out the night before that the workout began at 5:00am.  (My mind is always on Fury time).  So my apologies for those who showed up early and had to wait.  Also, I hope it didn’t keep anyone from posting.

Well, here is how it went:

  • Solid work by all in attendance
  • We put the EH on a gentleman working out at Civic Center so if you see a new face next week, make him feel welcome.
  • Rain came down strong during middle of workout.  It was refreshing.
  • After the workout, we spent a considerable time talking about modifying workouts to fit your skill set.  I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, doing something is better than simply saying I cant do those and not even trying.  I love to see the progress people are making bc they are putting in the work, even if it is modified.  Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was the ability to perform a pull-up (or 100).
