The Thang: 22 PAX (counting 3 Ruckers and 1 fly-by) gathered for some speed / hill work on a Pre-Florence Hurricane Friday morning. Most ran an old favorite route called Misty Mountain. Head out from the fountain, hang a right at the theater, take a tour of Pusher’s parking lot making a right at the light, continue hills to the bottom of Index-Journal, return to the theater, take a route thru Hampton Place, then repeat the I-J hills. Return safely by 6.

Announcements: Sign up for the Blood and Guts Run on Oct 31st, and continue to train with the PAX on all run days. Each run day until then will geared toward a specific area such as endurance, recovery, speed, and hills. Submit your 5K or 5 mile GOAL or PR options.
P200 is generating lots of interest. If you are serious, get your name out there so teams can be formed. The costs increase at the end of September.
With the upcoming bad weather for Sunday, it is suggested to meet at the Fountain at 6am Saturday for this week’s long run. All are welcome to join Corncob. Watch for updates on Twitter.
