YHC has been keeping an eye on The Murph Challenge twitter account as they post daily workouts to help get people prepared for the official Murph Challenge workout that happens on Memorial Day. That got me to thinking, while it wouldn’t be one of the normal Hero WODs , why not do a day or two of these daily challenge workouts. Therefore,

MURPH TRAINING DAY 34:

For Time:
55 Kettle Bell Swings
55 Merkins
55 Goblet Squats
55 Burpees
55 Merkins
55 Goblet Squats
55 Kettle Bell Swings

The two sets of Merkins were added to give some extra work…do the harder thing

Times were recorded but my trusty timekeeper, BabyBlu, hit the lap button a few too many times and this it was near impossible to attribute times to the pax. Times ranged from 19.5 – 26.5 minutes.

MURPH TRAINING DAY 33:

10 Rounds For Time
200m Run
10 Pull-ups

Cut short due to time constraints…most people completed 4-5 rounds in the 7-8 mins we did the work.

Lt. Michael Murphy was the hero we honored today. A highly decorated Navy Seal who gave his life for our country while serving in Afghanistan. You can read more about him below:
