14 PAX decided the threat of rain wasn’t enough to hold them back from putting in some good work. As Murph is just around the corner I wanted to implement a workout heavy on merkins and squats in preparation for Monday. I also wanted to get our heart rates up a bit, so I went with a double Hero WOD after a straightforward warm-up. I’m going to go on record that Brenton maybe the most deceptive hero WOD in terms of what it looks like on paper vs the pain it inflicts. We will see this one again. Loredo is always a quality workout given the running and work. It went down like this:
Warm Up – OYO
100 Merkins, 100 squats
The Thang
Brenton – 3 Rounds for Time
30 yard Bear Crawl Out
30 yard Broad Jump Back w/ 3 Burpees after every 5 jumps
Loredo – 6 rounds for time
24 Squats
24 Merkins
24 Walking Lunge Steps (count right leg only)
400 M Run (Actually a little shorter today as we stayed inside the fence and around the field. Probably closer to 360m by my estimate)

- I literally never saw Sour and Meter Maid until the workout was over. It was a strange phenomenon as I had no idea they were there. #ninjas
