F3 Greenwood

Thursday’s at Fury are generally easy to recognize because Inspector is in attendance.  He is a Thursday regular.  And I say Thursday regular, because you can count on 1 hand how many times he has posted on a different day of the week.  Confirmed, when he said that today may have been the first time he posted to Fury on a Tuesday.  So as YHC pulled into the parking lot I went straight to assuming today was Thursday and started contemplating the weekend plans.  Well… the jokes on me.  Today is only Tuesday.  And this Tuesday was brought to you by the number 11.

5 Pax posted to Fury and became acquainted with the number 11.

Conditions: Mid 50’s which at first felt a little chilly.  It didn’t take long to change.  It’s amazing how warm the mid 50’s can feel when work is being done.

Disclaimer: Given

Warm-up:

Mosey to the intersection of Fury Road and Laurel Ave: 25 LBC’s (Yes I’m aware that 25 has nothing to do with 11)

Mosey to the intersection of Laurel Ave and Grace St: 25 Squats (We’ll get to the 11’s soon enough)

The Meat:

Mosey to the Dentist Office (Although not the office of our Dentist of choice):

Line up on the Curb for the 1st Set of 11’s

Bear Crawl to the other curb and do 10 Decline Merkins

Bear Crawl (Or Crawl Bear if you’re Alpo) back to the original curb and do 1 Incline Merkin

Rinse and Repeat, decreasing the Decline Reps by 1 and increasing the Incline Reps by 1 each round

Mosey to Junior for the 2nd set of 11’s:

Run up Junior to the normal stopping point and do 10 Burpees

Run back down Junior and do 1 Big Boy Sit-up

Rinse and Repeat, decreasing the Burpee Reps by 1 and increasing the BBS by 1 each round

Mosey back to the Shovel Flag by way of Murder’s Row and Fury Road.

Due to time constraints we were unable to see what either of these beasts had to offer today, but we did take a pit stop at Fury Revenge’s LBC location to knock out 25 of those.

Count-o-Rama: 5

Name-o-Rama: Listed above

Announcements:

  • Dad’s/2.0 Camp Out is this weekend.  Need to let Boy George know ASAP if you want to attend and have yet to sign up.  He needs to know for food procurement.
  • *** SATURDAY UPDATE *** It has been originally announced that the workout would take place at Connie Maxwell, but due to a lack of flat and clear space for Ultimate Frisbee, the location has been changed to the Shipyard.  Time = 0630 and then the 2.0 workout will begin around 0745 or as soon as the campers return. Breakfast to follow at 0815.

Prayer Requests:

  • Non mentioned, but we all need prayer!

NMS:

  • Solid group of Pax posted at Fury today.  Great to see Tootsie Roll posting consistently in an effort to get better.  Keep at it, you’re well on your way.
  • Great to see Inspector on a different day than Thursday.  Way to shake things up!
  • Refugee must have been mugged during one of the moseys, or either that guy will give you the shirt off his back.  Literally… He has it on… then it’s gone.
  • Alpo was the rabbit today and told the dogs to try and keep up.  We tried our best.
  • Another great workout with a great group of guys.  That makes getting up at 0415 a little easier.

The Meter is paid up…
