Tough morning today. The Murph had taken it’s toll and everybody was feeling it. I decided to go with the 1300 workout mainly because I didn’t feel much like running. I was sore and didn’t feel like moving much. But then Southern Belle showed up with a weighted vest, and Alpo brought some new pieces of 4″ PVC pipe filled with sand. Weighing in at just shy of 50 lbs, my idea of not moving much went out the window. It went like this…

100- SSH

10- burpees

20- Thrusters

30- walking lunges

40- merkins

50- overhead presses

60- squats

70- scissor kicks

80- curls

90- crunches

100 second planks

– so some random things happened this morning. 1st Alpo brings these pieces of pipe that definitely are a crowd pleasure. I used them for my overhead presses, but pumped out about 10 curls and quickly changed my mind about using them on. They will definitely be used again.

– 2nd Inspector decided to stand in a fire ant pile while doing his first set of thrusters. He also quickly changed his mind about standing there. They will definitely not be used again

-3rd as we’re all laying on our backs Inspector says “what’s that floating in the sky?” We all look up and something seems to just slowly float across the top of the AO. It almost changed shapes while we watched it. Balloon maybe? UFO maybe? Lets just go with UFO for the sake of the BB. It was weird bc it really wasn’t going up or down. It just floated straight across. It was round so it wasn’t a bird or anything. Alpo said it was a balloon somebody let off in Alabama? Seems plausible I guess. It was weird, but whatever.

-4th I’m officially putting out an APB for some big tractor tires. Furys set took missing (I think CrossFit came and took them) and we need to replace them. So anybody who might have access or knows where we can get some,  hook a brother up.

Until next time,
