The call came out Friday night for someone to step up to Q for the Saturday BC at Fury. With so many PAX doing the Swamp Rabbit, nobody was jumping at the chance to do it, so what the crap, let’s Q up some pain. Broke out the pen and paper and got to work.

Conditions: 60 degrees and humid

One lone Tickle mobile sat in the dark when YHC arrived. We both ere hoping for more to avoid the infamous awkward BOM. Then a truck pulls up that neither of us recognized. It was Otis! We were excited to see him back in the gloom after 7 months of recovery from heart issues. He said he had been hitting the gym to get prepared fro his return. He said “If I don’t stroke, I should be just fine!” I figured what a better time to give the disclaimer?

5:59am disclaimer and one minute warning

Welcome back Otis! It was great to have him back in the gloom! e was hesitant to start back on a Fury morning, but he crushed the work in style. Great work Otis! YHC threw this together on a whim, but judging by the mumblechatter, it was Fury worthy. WHC was still sore from Thursday Fury and thought the rifle carries would be a good burn to finish off those shoulders. It was definitely a crowdpleaser. I would love to see the Saturday workout #’s explode. On a typical non-event Saturday, we could easily hit double digits. It’s hard to fight that fartsack on a Saturday morning after a week of posting, a long week at work, and life in general, but there are brothers out here that need that extra push from another brother standing beside them. Until next time….

Southern Belle is hanging up….
