Do you have a speaker? That was the first question asked by a pax this morning upon arriving at Fury. Unfortunately, I do not and no one else did either. Others have set a standard with playing tunes during the tough workouts. The music does have a way of getting your mind off of the work you are putting in. I realized how much I missed the music during the first round of this workout. I felt this was a tough one and music would have definitely helped.
Warm Up:
100 SSH (single count)
The Thang:

10 Burpees 50 Merkins => Rifle Carry half way => 50 Curls => Lunge Walk to Woods => 50 OH Press 25 Big Boy
10 Burpees 50 Merkins <= Rifle Carry half way <= 50 Curls <= Lunge Walk to Woods <= 50 OH Press
Run to Laurel and back
Round 2:
10 Man Makers 50 Chest Press => Rifle Carry half way => 50 Skull Crushers => Lunge Walk to Woods => 50 Alpos 25 Big Boy
10 Man Makers 50 Chest Press <= Rifle Carry half way <= 50 Skull Crushers <= Lunge Walk to Woods <= 50 Alpos
Run to Laurel and back
Round 3:
10 Thrusters 50 Kettle Bell => Rifle Carry half way => 50 Flutter Kicks => Lunge Walk to Woods => 50 Rows 25 Big Boy
<= 50 Rows
We ran out of time before finishing the last round. However, I don’t think that hurt any feelings. All pax put in solid effort and we got better. Music definitely makes it better and I will need to think about that next time I Q.
