F3 Greenwood

YHC wanted to get some last minute Murph training in this morning at Fury since that has been severely hampered due to COVID-19 and 5 other PAX joined YHC in the mist of Fury this morning where it truly was the gloom.

Disclaimer was given.

Warm-up

    SSH x 20
    10 burpees OYO

The Thang

Mosey to pull-up bars.

50 pull-ups. PAX were instructed to perform as many as they could. When they got tired, they had to do Exploding Merkin Squats (think burpees without the jump) until they were ready to complete more pull-ups.

After all PAX completed 50 pull-ups, we partnered up and each team grabbed a coupon and 2 dongers and headed to the road by the stop sign.

DORA

PAX 1 stayed and did work while PAX 2 carried the coupon about 150 feet, starting from road sign and going towards parking lot at the park, in various ways – 90 degree carry, rifle carry, farmer carry. The work that was done at the starting point was:

    50 renegade rows
    100 bent over reverse flys
    200 squats to press
    300 toe touches with brick

Assorted abs and continued coupon carrying to the 6. Return blocks after the 6 came in.

There was still time on the clock, so we repeated what we did at the beginning but this time with 25 pull-ups. We had about 10 minutes left, so we moseyed back to where we started the warm-up. At this point, a faithful PAX exclaimed that this was the longest hour of his life and YHC might have to agree.

Starting at Inspector’s van (because of course his was the first car there), we lunge walked to the end of the next car. Upon arriving there, we did 5 burpees and moseyed back to the front of Inspector’s van. We then lunge walked to the end of the next car in the row and so on until 6:00 hit and recovery was called.

NMS

What an effort this morning by a faithful group of PAX who posted in the gloomy mist of Fury. As usual, Crayola was out front leading the way. Foreclosure keeps pushing that rock every time he posts (which is everyday unless he’s playing golf at the beach), EncinoMan did what EncinoMan does and beasted the coupon work with those arms of his, SouthernBelle was his normal rocksteady self, and Inspector kept pushing the old man to keep going. YHC was honored to lead such a group.
YHC shared Hebrews 10: 19-25, “19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”  YHC hopes that F3Greenwood can continue to spur one another one through encouragement and support. YHC believes that our previous Nantan, DC, did an amazing job of this during the pandemic time and YHC believes this helped each man get through it. As we continue to come out of this, YHC prays that this continues.

Until next time,
