6 studs joined YHC to find out how far they could carry a coupon without stopping. The answer is farther at the beginning than at the end.

Weather – SC summer. Just a tad humid

Disclaimer was given and off we went.

Warm-up – SSH until Duggar got out of his car.

Mosey to coupon pile. (We see Alpo coming in hot so we grabbed a coupon and did SSH until he almost got there. Although there wasn’t much urgency on his part.) Bring coupon through the hidden pathway (someone has neglected landscaping at Fury) to the road.

At the road, rifle carry to the bottom of Fury Road. When someone has to stop, the whole group stops. We stopped at the triangle and did 5 manmakers and 20 flutters with the block in the press position (the hard way). We continued to the bottom of Fury Road and did 10 manmakers and 40 flutters with the block in the press position.

The Thang

1st Set – Driveway Suicides

    Using the first three driveways to Project Hope as our turnaround points. Block work done at the bottom of Fury Road.
    21-15-9 – Thrusters, Curls, Leg Raises with block in press position

      Perform 21 of each, run to the backside of the 1st driveway to Project Hope
      Perform 15 of each, run to the backside of the 2nd driveway to Project Hope
      Perform 9 of each, run to the backside of the 3rd driveway to Project Hope.

    Plank to the 6.

2nd Set – Murder’s Row

    Using the first light pole, real estate sign, and 2nd light pole.
    21-15-9 – KB Swings, 8 count body builders, American Hammers

      Perform 21 of each, lunge walk from island to first light pole and mosey back.
      Perform 15 of each, lunge walk from island to real estate sign and mosey back.
      Perform 9 of each, lunge walk to second light pole and mosey back.

    Abs to the 6.

Repeat Rifle Carry work back to sign at covered pathway. We had to stop a little more on the way back. The first time at the 3rd driveway for 5 manmakers and 20 flutters with the block in the press position. Then we farmer’s carried in our right (or at least some of us did) to the first pole after the last entrance and did 5 manmakers and 20 flutters. Then we farmer’s carried in our left to the light pole before the F3 light pole and did 5 manmakers and 20 flutters. Then we rifle carried back to the road sign.

We had 5 minutes left so we did a monkey humper and low plank to a merkin ring of fire. (Alpo showed us how low planks without your hands touching are a wee bit harder than when you have your hands together.)

Blocks were returned and we moseyed back to the flag.

Announcements

    Duggar has the Q at RED tomorrow and there will be “some” burpees. Crayola can do it vested just because he can. And it’s all body weight. I hear the over/under line on the burpees is 100.

    YHC’s original plan was to go all the way to Junior with the blocks. But that will wait until another time.
    YHC didn’t plan on the shoulder burn that was experienced but it was real and the return trip back to the pull-up bars seemed to never end. But the studs that were there this morning pushed through and grinded it out.
    And Polly revealed at coffeteria that he likes boys.
