Ending a Decade

6 men decided to post at Fury to close out the decade.

The Pax:

Crayola, Duggar, Inspector, Tootsie Roll, Weaver (Respect), Meter Maid

The Work:

  • 50 Pull-ups
  • 50 Dips (Partition as needed and do ab work for the six.)
  • Mosey to the street and line up for a Merkin (10 Merkins) Indian run. Head to the Laurel/Fury Road intersection.
  • 50 LBCs
  • Continue Merkin Indian Run to the Dentist Office.
  • 50 Flutter Kicks
  • Continue the Merkin Indian Run to the old water treatment plant.
  • 50 Whirly Boys
  • Mosey to Murder’s Row
  • Alternate 20 Merkins and 25 ab reps of choice at the Utility Poles all the way to the bottom of Fury Road.
  • Partner up here and sprint (max effort) to the 3rd Utility Pole. 25 ab reps of choice.
  • Mosey back down and rinse and repeat 4 times.
  • Then work back up Murder’s Row alternating 10 Merkins and 20 ab reps of choice at the utility poles.
  • Mosey to the old water treatment plant.
  • 25 ab reps of choice.
  • Then Merkin (5) Indian Run to the Dentist Office.
  • 25 ab reps of choice
  • Continue Merkin Indian Run to the Laurel/Fury Road Intersection.
  • 25 ab reps of choice
  • Continue Merkin Indian Run to the Parking Lot

Completing exercises with quality form is a perishable skill. (And I didn’t have a lot of skill to lose in the first place)

I paired up with Crayola on the sprints (and yes everything is a race) and I’m pretty sure he could have sprinted the distance twice in the time it took me to complete it once.

Tootsie Roll is itching to Q. He tried to highjack today’s Q.

I think Inspector commented that he was “out of shape”. I laughed. If he only knew what “out of shape” really felt like.

Weaver continues to get after it. If we didn’t say our age, you’d think he was one of the young guys.

Duggar is still a 5 star.
