F3 Greenwood

6 guys made their way out to Fury for what is confirmed to be F3Greenwood’s toughest and longest boot camp available.  I got a text from Sugar asking if I was going with a hero style workout or one I had crafted from scratch.  I had planned on busting out the Mogadishu Mile, but his text prompted me to devise something a little more creative.  It went like this:

Warmup

SSH IC * 25 (led by Meter)

The Work

3 Rounds

25 Burpees

25 Ab exercise of your choice

50 Squats

25 Pullups

25 Merkins

1 lap from pullup bars around pond and back after each round (approximately 1,000 meters)

(On third lap we grabbed our stuff and reconvened at dog park gazebo for Mr. Ed)

Mr. Ed:

25 Leg Raises on picnic table

25 Dips

25 Incline Merkins

25 Leg Raises on picnic table

5 Navy Seal Burpees

25 Reverse Crunches on picnic table

25 Bonnie Blairs (count both legs)

**I feel like I’m forgetting one exercise here?**

COT/BOM

  • Great work by the 6 in attendance
  • Music was Spotify daily mix.  Started slow but got better.  Mostly hippie music.
  • Title belt was passed to Mary Anne for March Madness champs
  • Strong work by all on the pull-ups (Saw several knocking out extended strings of unbroken reps).  Reminder – “Can’t never could”
  • No pecs were harmed in this workout.  Although, they were strengthened.
