YHC shared a passage from Luke 2:8-10

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”

Everyone loves good news. Good news brings joy to the one that receives it. But, unfortunately your good news may not be so good for someone else. A new addition to a family may be great news for that family, but to a family that struggles to bear a child, that same news hurts. A long time addiction broken is great news for the freed addict, but for the person still bound to their addiction, this news may cause other feelings. The thing about the good news that the angels brought to the shepherds was that it was good news for EVERYONE. This good news was that a Savior was going to be born. Regardless of our circumstances, that good news was and is for all of us. We can experience joy in the promises that God has made to us.

BOM- YHC prayed us out.

NMM- So Belle has been on the shelf for about 6 months with a nagging wrist injury. YHC has missed you guys and the gloom more than you could comprehend. Last week, Inspector threw out the need for a sub Q for this mornings Fury. I tested the waters at a few bootcamps last week and all went well, so why not just walk the plank and dive right in? So, I jumped at the chance.

Things took a rough turn right out of the gate when my speaker bit the dust after maybe 2 songs. #RIP. Cobains guys. The tunes for this morning were compliments of 80’s and 90’s hair bands just in case you couldn’t hear my phone. We could have used an accountant or a math teacher. The rep count scheme got a little crazy. I’m sure it was due to my explanation of the work. I was throwing Inspector more TWSS material than he could handle. I’m sure there was some good mumblechatter, but Crayola and myself didn’t get to hear any of it. He was so far out front, and I was busy being the 6. One thing is for sure, a run up Fury Rd after a set of Smurfjacks is torture. Well, I hope these guys got their sixes smoked as much as mine did. I am thankful for all the PAX that didn’t let me give up while I was out. A man can easily fall back into the ways of the sadclown from being out that long. But I missed it so bad, there was no other place I wanted to be once the doc let me loose. Thank you guys for being there with me this morning. Man, it’s great to be back!

Southern Belle is hanging up….
