YHC jumped at the opportunity to take the Q this morning on 9/11. YHC knows that we were all affected by the events of this day but growing up in NYC and the towers being part of a fabric of everyday life, it is a reminder for me every year when this day rolls around. So, YHC set out to develop a BC around some of the specifics of the day.
When YHC first pulled up, Judge Hairy was the only car in the parking lot and YHC thought it was going to be another awkward 2 man ball during COT time but Weaver pulled in at 5:13 to save the day.

Disclaimer given and the warm-up was the mosey to the coupon cage. (YHC is guessing the county got tired of fiddling with the old lock because there is a new one on there that uses the same combination.) We grabbed coupons and moseyed to the roundhouse to start.

4 pairs of exercises were going to be completed with each pair completing 9 sets of 11 repetitions. The 4 represent the 4 planes that were hi-jacked on this morning. If PAX finished the pair of exercises, he did an ab exercise until the 6.

NMS
-Both Judge Hairy and Weaver killed the workout this morning. The first pair of exercises was by far a fan favorite. YHC thinks we are all in agreement that the merkin drags and goblet squats were the favorites of the morning. YHC is very impressed that we got it all done in time.
-YHC shared that in the attacks of 9/11, 2,753 people were killed. For every one of them, the day started off as a normal day and they had every expectation to be returning home that night to their families and we do the same thing everyday. When we leaver our houses to go to work and kiss our wives and kids goodbye, we have full expectation that we will be returning home that night to see them, but what happens if you don’t? Are we living our lives in a way that honors Him. Are we living our lives in a way that when we go, we have given our all to our families and friends? We find it easy to give our all during workouts and during the IronPax, but does that translate through out the day? YHC knows he can’t say yes to those questions everyday. So, today marks the beginning of a challenge to myself, to live every day in such a way because never truly knows when the day isn’t going to end as expected. And when that happens, YHC wants to have lived my life in such a way that I hear the words that were spoken in Matthew 25:23, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Until next time,
