F3 Greenwood

36 PAX gathered on Wednesday for one reason and one reason only….to witness the epic showdown between 2C and Pusher.  It was billed as a winner-take-all grudge match, the likes of which F3 Greenwood has never seen.  No one in attendance truly cared about bettering themselves.  They just wanted to say, 30 years from now, they were there in person to witness this particular event.  It would become a thing of lore and legend.  Unfortunately, that all fell flat.  It started unceremoniously and ended similarly.  The result was described by one participant as “He was going to beat me, but then I was going to beat him, but then he surged at the end.”  YHC isn’t really sure what that means, so I assume the race was somewhat close.  I did hear that 2C posted a 5K PR, so TClaps to you, sir.

As for the workout…

Weather: 70ish degrees and humid, as usual these days.

Disclaimer: Given at 5:15

PAX went in different directions for different distances and different paces.  A majority stuck to the prescribed 5K route.

We circled up, counted, named names, balled up and prayed.

Announcements:  Saturday is at Fury, followed by 2.0 workout and Chick-Fil-A.  IronPax Challenge continues this week and next week.

Prayer Requests: Brant Ashley from Calhoun Falls.  Brant is a 7 year-old who is battling a brain tumor.

Later, dudes.
