F3 Greenwood

F3 Greenwood added the Sunday runs an “official” run in March; however, Sundays runs have always been my “favorite” run day for many reasons.  Much more casual.  Show up when you want, run or walk or ruck however long you want, just return by 7:30.  Usually, it’s a smaller crowd, which fosters some great 2nd and 3rd F.

Piddler was the QIC today, but around 5:45 am, he sent a text to inform me that his 2.0 had kept him up a lot during the night.  The joys of parenthood.  We all know what it’s like to have that new addition to the house.  YHC Gladly accepted.

So, I placed the dry-erase board in it’s rightful place around 6:15 and took off for my jog. It was nice to see Uncle Buck pounding the pavement when I pulled into the Starbucks parking lot.

We all returned around 7:30, ordered coffee, enjoyed some fellowship and shared some prayer concerns.  Uncle Buck has a praise report.  He indicated the doctors found that he had DVT in his lower leg earlier, which was probably the culprit for his blood clots.  Awesome to get a good diagnosis!

We prayed it up.  After the prayer, I left the PAX with two Bible Verses:

Ephesians 4:32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Matt. 5:43–44“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,”

Until next time,

JJ
