The long-awaited second installment of the now famous Rabbit Chase was thoroughly communicated and advertised in large part due to Piddler, great job sir. When it was time to launch, 33 brave souls showed up to post and push their limits (in most cases) with the goal of chasing and being chased to the end. Some PAX still sidelined due to injuries, while others not up to 100%….but for the other 33, it was GO TIME.
Weather: Hot and humid, you could cut through the thick air…but not to deter the brave warriors of F3 Greenwood
Disclaimer: MAY have been overlooked….after all, everyone knows what they signed up for (well, not sure Turtlehead or 2C knew exactly what they were getting themselves into)
Workout
Regular Star Bucks 5k route starting and ending in Hobby Lobby parking lot for an “official”, “precise”, “professionally monitored”, “chip based”, “highly technologically advanced” timing system….or not. Oh well, everyone has a pretty good idea what they ran.

- Several first timers….way to step up men. Several PRs met. Good time by all.

- Though injured, Meatloaf provided a quick drive-by on his 2 wheel workout machine
- 3 Ruckers were getting after it today, not sure of the pace but they were moving….and pouring sweat
- YHC continues to marvel at the pace and effortless stride by some of our elite runners….won’t mention names for fear of leaving someone out
- Proud to see many “non runners” willing to step out and step up to join what has become a friendly and somewhat competitive group event. In particular, Lemon, Pinto, and 2C gave strong efforts for something new and challenging to them, good work men.
- Glad to see everyone return safely….thought we were going to need to send a search party for our 20 year old boy wonder Turtlehead
