13 pax posted to Fury for some Shirtless Entry fun. DownPainments were made!
Twitter began to erupt with chatter approx. 12 hours prior to this workout. It was centered around giving two guys emotional headlocks so that they would post to Fury for the first time. Of course YHC was happy that this was going on, but when they both hard committed, there was pressure to have the right workout. Too hard and they’ll never come back, too easy and everyone’s wasting their time. It’s not necessary for a Q to tailor a workout for any specific pax, but in this case YHC was wanting it to be enticing enough for them to return. This is what it looked like….

When the bell tolled 0515, YHC grabbed the flag and ran across the wooded lot towards the road, then planted it on a somewhat grassy level surface. Being that this is F3 Greenwood’s Anniversary week, and that there were 34 original SadClown’s that posted, and that YHC had called this same exercise yesterday to lead off Hustle, YHC decided it was appropriate to start today off with Flutter Kicks.

Afterwards, the “Recover” was sounded and it was time to mosey to the dip/pull up corner of the lot. A medley of dips, pull ups, and merkins was the order, however it took some repeating for the pax to pick up on the reps for each exercise.

Once all four sets of each exercise were complete, it was time to move on to the main event.

Mosey around the flag, then cross the parallel bars without touching the ground in the middle, then cross the monkey bars before returning to your coupon signifying 1 round complete.
After the majority of the pax had completed their 3rd round, YHC called “Recover and stow your coupons!” It was then time for a short AO exploratory mosey. The pax followed as YHC moseyed across the road to the dog park and down for a quick lap around the pond before mustering under the gazebo. Here there was just enough time for a few more exercises.

– Welcome to Posh and Mr. Bean for posting to their first Fury workout. I hope it was the first of many.
– YHC tried to create a COP medley that was taxing, but not impossible. After everyone got the count down, work was efficiently performed.
– The coupon work was a real crowd pleaser. YHC tried to break it up with an ode to the USMC Mudrun by adding a few Ocourse style obstacles into the mosey.
– Not to leave out any chance to run, the pax enjoyed a scamper around the pond and some leg work to cap it off.
