Devo: What kind of believer are you?
James 2:19
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
This tells us that just believing that there is a God is not enough. Much in the same way people believe exercise is good for them but do not put that belief into action. They gain nothing. To gain entrance into Heaven you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
James 2:18
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.
While accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior will gain you entrance into Heaven we should not stop there. We should always be striving to be more like Christ everyday. This along with our faith is shown by our works. We should not settle for being a minimal Christian. In comparison we shouldn’t settle for minimal results at a workout. You can show up and do a few exercises and you will see minimal results. But if you push yourself past what you believe your limits are you’ll see significant results. This is the same in our walk with Christ. If we push ourselves beyond what we think we can do and let God have control and guide us you’ll see tremendous results.

NMS:
* Mac-n-Cheese spoke of how important the #kill22 awareness program is to him and the impact his experiences with Military Personnel and their families has had on him during these types of situations. Thanks for reminding us of the importance.
* Things got started off in the parking lot this morning by Judge Judy telling us he was going to record portions of the workout live on Facebook. No extra pressure on YHC there. 😒
* Station #2 turned out to be a big hit. Future Q’s take note: Thrusters, Bear Crawls up the Concrete Monster, then Jungle Boy Squats… Winning combination!
*YHC has been wanting to breakout the Australian Mountain Climbers for a long time now. Today was the day. Reaction was surprisingly positive. These will make future appearances with higher reps.
* YHC was also a little concerned about how much time a double Dora around the campus would take. Turns out… just the right amount.
* We won’t bring up Shaggy’s Splash pad. Bottom line is keep giving it all you got brother. Things won’t get easier, BUT instead, you’ll get better!
* During the 2nd F at Howard’s, T-Rav was commenting on the workout and asked YHC if I do a lot of running.YHC’s initial response was no, but the more YHC thinks about it. Turns out YHC does. Not Uncle Buck type running, but still turns out to be a lot.
As always, it’s an honor to Q. I highly recommend giving it a try.
Until the next Q
