On this special RED Friday we honored US Army Master Sgt. Jared N. Van Aalst, 34 of New Hampshire. He was assigned to the US Army Special Operations Command, based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, died Aug. 4 2010, in Kunduz Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered while his unit was conducting combat operations.
Warmup – 1 mile Indian Run while dribbling a basketball (this was interesting)
THE WORK (Modified to fit in Basketball Activity)
1 ROUND of 40 Pull Ups and 70 Merkins
Mosey to Basketball court to start our next activity.
It kinda went like this
We each took turns shooting the rock while issuing random exercises and rep counts depending on if we made it or not. Crayola is not only our F3 MVP he’s our F3 Basketball MVP as well. We’ll give him that title until someone else makes more than one basket and by more than one basket I mean if you make 2 you’re automatically in the Hall of Fame in our circle. Shooting basketball in the moonlight after diamond merkins doesn’t really help when you’re trying to fill up the stat sheet.
We all had fun and what not. We will visit it again when we have more folks show up.
Prayer Requests / Praise Reports : Pray for everybody. Shout out to Jesus for keeping Southern Belle’s co-worker on this side of the dirt after a bad accident on the Interstate that could have ended in tragedy. He obviously has a bigger plan for him.
Do your part and post for March Madness and reach out to someone old or new and get their ass out in the gloom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See you in the morning
