NMM- Inspector needed a sub-Q for Uncle Jesse. He said Uncle Jesse was dealing with his neck, back, and some possible unmentionables. I was really looking forward to a scheduled rest day, but I took this as a sign to step up and get my 6 out of the fartsack. And as usual, anytime I sign up to Q, there’s going to be a 50% chance or more of rain. Lucky me, it was 70% this time, so I prepared a wet/dry combo just in case. And if you bet on the rain, then you missed out on a beatdown. I wanted to save my legs for my D2D training, so i hit the upper body pretty good with some Spartan inspired exercises. Flipping the small tire up onto and over the larger tire was as bad or worse in person as I had imagined it. It’s hard to find something even close to the 400# Yokohama mama they use in the Spartan. The Bucket Get Ups were nasty as well and will show up again at an AO near you. I had some Dora work planned as well in case we had even numbers. If only Chipper had been there. But he had a hard time coming off of his seventh or eighth corn-teen. Regardless, he was missed. I appreciate these studs showing up and pounding out the work with me. Maybe it’s just seeing somebody suffer along with me. Whatever it is, I couldn’t do it without them.

Southern Belle is hanging up….
