F3 Greenwood

If you didn’t post this morning, you missed out on some fantastic weather, and even better camaraderie among pax. My original idea had us going mobile, but that plan was altered once the Nantan approached me with an opportunity to show some support for one of our own. We still got in the miles though.

Weather – perfection

5:14ish – Disclosure

5:15 – Warmup – 25 SSH, 24 cut-the-grass

And we’re off to the fountain from there……..

We arrived to fountain, where I had a few things planned for us to do. The plan was to get work in until UJ made his way through uptown during his virtual Boston Marathon.

First set of exercises- Dora-300 dips total, one partner bearcrawls to this island in the parking lot and runs back, while the other does work.

We get about two swaps in and here comes UJ accompanied by Tweeter, earlier than expected. We recover and run with them until we make it to the top of Grace St. From there most of us headed back to Terrapin. DC continued with them a while longer.

Once we got back to the land turtle, we continued the same dora, but only did 150 reps from there. I had to jump in with the others because I was partnerless at this point.

We finishes our dips, and went to dora #2

-100 situp to pushups (looks like a burpee but you fall back to do a big boy, and you never stand up). Partner backpeddles the sidewalk around the playground while other partner does work,

The finisher

10 pullups, 10 dips, 10 merkins, repeat…..until time is called.

And here comes DC just in time for COT.

COT

IPC week 2 is here. Get after it.

Sept.26 workout @ F3 Classic City (Athens, GA). Clown car there and support a new group.

Sept 11. There will probably be a special RED Friday workout.

Sept 11. Memorial Ruck (See one of our ruckers for details)

Prayer requests: All those that continue to be effected by COVID-19, 2C’s friend.

It is always great to be able to support one of our own, especially when they take on something as challenging as a marathon. I hope to be in that kind of running shape one of these days. Kudos to UJ for hanging in there, dealing with cancellations, and getting Boston done without Boston.

Although this mornings workout felt unusual, we all got in some quality work. I certainly enjoyed it.

I’m off to do some coloring,
