Another Monday at Terrapin, and another Q for YHC. YHC was trying to decide if I wanted to run week #1 of IPC or should I go easy on everyone, but these Men didn’t come out to a Encinoman’s Q for easy. So I came up with a shoulder burner to please everyone.

Weather: mild but muggy
Warmups: the usual 25 SSH, 15 cut the grass, 25 SSH, 10 burpees OYO.
The Workout: ( Each pax grab two blocks and meet in the grass facing the flag pole.) and it went like this..
50 weighted squats ( with 1 block)
40 Bent over rows( using both blocks)
30 dips ( feet must be on the block)
20 power merkins ( spread both blocks outside of shoulders and do one merkin normal, and when extending up do a power push and raise hands up to top of blocks and do a wide spread merkin on the blocks, and return back to ground. both reps count as 1 merkin)
10 Man makers
After each round farmer carry to flag pole and do 50 shrugs, and famer carry blocks back and repeat round. 4 Rounds was planned but time was called after the start of 3 rounds. Returned blocks, and circled up for COT.
Prayer request: Scrum’s mom, and Weaver’s wife having surgery this week, The Lark family dealing with Covid ( wife is in ICU on ventilator). Sorry if I have forgotten a request this morning, there were many and I should have wrote them down.

The mumblechatter was on point today. Even heard someone ( Inspector) say ” this is the worst workout ever” Thank you! and everyone loved the power merkins, and the Bent over rows” Not really they hated it, but that’s the point get out of the bed, and out of your comfort zone and do it. I’m glad these guys showed up for this six because I didn’t want to do it alone. Now I’m getting off of here and submitting this before I have another power outage and have to type it all out again!
