9 Pax got up this morning…like, UP! Another workout was initially lined up, but upon research, YHC discovered it was dedicated to a German – deal breaker.  We’ve all done 21-15-9, but have you ever heard of 77-44-11?  Well that’s what we missed.

Instead YCH went to Vang, Denmark to honor Danish Army Sgt. René Brink Jakobsen.  René died Jan. 3, 2013, after being hit by an improvised explosive device while on foot patrol with his unit in Upper Gereshk Valley in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The 39-year-old was a member of the elite Danish Special Forces Ranger unit called Jaegerkorpet.

Jaegerkorpet, aka the Jaeger Corps traces its origins to 1785 when the corps was first formed as the “Jaeger corps of Zealand”.  Facing emerging threats from Sweden, Prussia, and, the Limeys, Denmark created a light infantry force from hunters and woodsmen.  Sounds like a bunch of drunk snowmen who want to kill future Russians…my kinda people.

Also notable is Pothole’s date night on Thursday…weak legs and a few bevys deep…would have otherwise been a nice opportunity to fartsack…well done.

While running down the hill from the pavilion back to the playground, YCH made a straight shot out of the gate – luckily the Subaru was just two spots off to the left out of the exit.  Opened driver’s door, snatched gloves, confirmed holding a right and left handed glove, back through the entrance toward playground and into lunges.  BAM!

Announcements: Tripple Bogey with the VQ tomorrow.  Going mobile AF!  That is fantastic and a first as YHC is aware.  Get a Sasquatch partner.  I like you, do you like me?  YHC needs a partner.  Looking for another tugboat.  It is going to be agony…YHC doesn’t need to be pushed to an unnecessary level to complete. I need someone else who will knock it out slow and steady.
