On August 18, 2015 F3 Greenwood opened its second boot camp AO at the home of the Emerald High School Vikings and aptly named it The Shipyard.

This new AO was a big hit with strong attendance totals and drew in many new pax from “that side of town.”

Recently (for many reasons that I will not go into in this post), The Shipyard has run into some obstacles that have made it difficult to continue to operate and grow in a way that we would prefer. Due to those circumstances, we began to search for a new location to serve those pax who post at Shipyard.

After an extensive search around town for some suitable sites that would be willing to allow a crazy pre-dawn workout group, we have found a new home for those pax .

Greenwood Christian School has been kind enough to welcome F3 Greenwood and allow us to use their campus as our new AO. We are grateful to our new hosts and look forward to building a strong relationship with them in the years to come.

As a nod to GCS and their hawk mascot, the new AO will be named TALON.

The schedule for Talon will remain the same as the previous schedule for the Shipyard: Bootcamps at 0515 every Thursday and the first Saturday of each month at 0600.

Quicky, the recently appointed Shipyard AOQ, will continue as AOQ of Talon and we look forward to witnessing what great plans he has to build and grow this new AO.

The inaugural boot camp will take place on Thursday August 15 at 0515 and we are hoping to see a large group as we break in this new AO site. Make plans now to post and EH someone who has not joined us in the gloom recently.
