Conditions- Around 70 degrees with a nice breeze

Head to the pull up bars for a quick warm up Fury style.
Warm up- 300 cumulative pull ups
The Thang-
6 PAX grab a coupon. 2 PAX grab a Thunderstick. No, not the gray ones. Get the extra heavy, slick, hard to grip white ones. Head to the pond. There are 2 gravel buckets waiting on us there too.
Get in teams of 2. PAX 1 carries either a Thunderstick, bucket, or coupons for farmer’s carry. PAX 2 does 15 burpees then catches up to PAX 1 and takes the weight, and PAX 1 does 15 burpees.
2 teams go left around the pond and 2 teams go right. When the teams meet on the other side of the pond, swap weights so all PAX have an opportunity to carry coupons, Thundersticks , and buckets. This was so much fun, we decided to do 2 laps.
Head back to the prison yard. Always a pleasure carrying your coupons back up the hill when your shoulders and arms are jelly.
Prison Yard Station Work- 2 rounds of each
Station 1 Pull up Bars- 30 count dead hang, 30 merkins, 30 goblet squats
Station 2 Monkey Bars and Parallel Bars – OnB on the Monkey Bars, 30 knee raises on the Parallel Bars, OnB on the Monkey Bars
Station 3- Flip tire, jump to the center of the tire, then jump out to the opposite side of the tire 5 times, 30 calf raises, 30 OH presses
I believe most PAX got started on round 2 before time was called.

Announcements- Shipyard is Saturday with 2C on the helm. 2.0 workout there at 8am.
Prayer requests/ praise reports- Pinto told us that Lemon is down 30 lbs! What motivation! Do the work, watch the change. Way to go Lemon. Keep it up, and don’t lose focus!
Prayed it up.
NMM- With the Asheville Spartan Super getting ever so closer, I thought it would be good to serve up a taste of Sparta, and it turned out Spartalicious! I recommend everyone sign up for a CSAUP like a Spartan race or, like several of our slightly crazier PAX, a marathon. Sure, the event itself is awesome, but it gives you something to train towards. And what better way to ensure that you’re getting the right exercises, than to Q the workout yourself. I was hoping for an even # today, and that’s what I got. I was going to drop off my bucket down at the park, but the Popo was backed in down by the bathrooms in the dark. My guess is he was watching Inspector sitting in his van, all alone, in the dark. Nothing suspicious there. YHC and Encinoman decided to vest up. That adds a whole different level of suck on the monkey bars. Encinoman has signed up for the Spartan and is laser focused on being ready. Pinto continues to take us to school on the pull ups. Piddler is joining us back at Fury to push himself further so he can be Spartan ready by August. Mary Anne is a Spartan veteran and rocked the work out this morning despite rolling an ankle here on Tuesday. Way to push it! It was good to see Corn Cob and Quickie out there too. And for the record, Corn Cob did NOT merlot this morning! Congratulations Corn Cob! I think we’ll see more of Quickie at Fury. I think I heard some mumblechatter up there about how much he was enjoying the tire flipping. Inspector just continues to get stronger. I’ve noticed over the last few months how he is cruising through the work. I’d like to see Inspector Q some more. He Q’s a pretty wicked workout and has a rockin playlist. These guys worked their 6’s off this morning. It was an honor to get out there and lead along side of them.
Southern Belle is hanging up….
