The great thing about this Hero WOD is that it combines both boot camps and sustained running. The BC work is hard hard enough to make it tough, but anyone can complete the work. The running is long enough to make it tough, but anyone can complete the distance. Point being, the wood is one that pushes you and makes you better, but it’s not impossible to complete no matter your fitness level. Once you’ve completed once then your goal should be to better your time the next go around.
The 5k route was daunting. When you turned right onto 72 and you saw the first hill you had to climb, it tested your mental fortitude.
Kudos to Uncle Jesse for setting the pace. Of course what’s new there. That may explain why he is the Red Friday AOQ. Also kudos to Dixie Chick for running a fast 5k on a tough course. That may explain why he’s the Run AOQ.
All Pax put in huge effort and that’s what makes F3 Greenwood great. There’s no quit in this group!
Until the next Q,
The Meter is paid in full…
