COT:
Count, Names, Announcements
Prayer Requests:
Pray for Spud and his family. We learned shortly after BC that his father passed away this morning.
Pray for our F3 brothers who are going through personal struggles.
Reach out to those men who may need an encouraging word. You never know what a short text or phone call can mean to someone.
NMM:
4/5 men put in some pre-bootcamp miles. We all know Pusher doesn’t need to put in miles; he is already a beast. I assume he was doing some mental preparation for Spartan while the rest of us were running or cycling.
Thanks to those men who posted this morning. We all got better today because of the work we put in and the fellowship we enjoyed afterward.
With the cooler temps rolling in this week, we had some pretty low numbers across the board. Hopefully this week was just an anomaly and men are planning to get back out next week to join their F3 Greenwood brothers in the gloom. Do your best to not let the cooler weather keep you from posting in the gloom and then opt for a run later in the day or a workout at the gym. In the past I have gone rogue for runs when training for races on bootcamp days and others have done the same or chosen to do other rogue work on run days. We like to say “you do you” and sometimes when one is following a training plan, it is important to stay on track to do one’s best in an upcoming event. Just remember that when we post in the gloom, we aren’t just showing up for ourselves. We are there to support the man who has stepped up to lead as well as the other men who have come out that morning. You never know who might be posting just so they can get an encouraging word or two or just looking to spend a few minutes with friends before they have to start their daily grind.
In other words, post for the man beside you. Let’s continue to grow the relationships that have been built as a result of F3 Greenwood and work together to make it the best it can be.
Thanks to all the men of F3 Greenwood who push me to get better in every facet of my life every day.
