Nine pax didn’t get skeered by all the Twitter banter on Friday night. And they were duly rewarded with a tour of Fury’s most popular route known as the Fury Loop. The morning was disturbingly muggy as the good ole South Carolina summer continues to steam its inhabitants like a fresh batch of shrimp hauled in off the coast. Perfect for a trip over to Junior. . .

- When YHC said, “Stop at the LBC lightpole,” Meatloaf said he once heard it called that during some workout he would have finished had he shown up. And he just might have if he ditched the bicycle helmet.
- CoT was quite powerful, with several pax opening up on more than just a surface level. Moments just like that one are what the CoT and F3 are all about.
- Sugar accused YHC of syphoning others into my lackluster spiral of BRR training. YHC had to get started somehow. . .
- Not a lot of love for Junior or for Fury Road was shown. This, in spite of the mercy of not having to stop at ever pole for something stupid like 10 burpees. Right, Flossy? ?
- An epic race between Sugar and BluePrint (who rolled in LIFO, nearly killing half the pax as he swung onto Fury Road on two shoes) took place in the final sprint for the flag. Not sure who won, but YHC got winded watching it.
- Don’t forget the Laurens launch on 8/12. We need names of guys over in Laurens!
