On a wet and gloomy morning 3 posted to honor the Devil of Ramadi at RED Friday Greenwood.
Chris Kyle is one of America’s Greatest Heroes. He completed four tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and saved countless lives of American and Allied service members, along with local Iraqi civilians. Some of what he said has been rebutted. Some of what he’s said has been politically incorrect. Most of what he’s said has eventually pissed someone off and yet if he were alive today he still wouldn’t care. It’d be your problem, not his. This measly 25 minute workout is meant to honor him, his family, and his sacrifices for the freedoms we each get to enjoy. Check this link out for a unique story detailing more than just his highlights.

Sugar showed up sans weight vest and delivered a knockout performance. As YHC faded, Sugar continued to press and pull away making haste of all exercises. So much so that he was able to stop and have some conversation in between sets giving Sour and myself a faint glimmer of hope that we’d actually catch him. After Rd 1 we were never even close. Sour became all to familiar with the split leg squats that YHC has become accustomed to calling during my Q’s. They really did add a different element and feel to the whole WOD. It wasn’t any easier I can promise you that! The whole morning had more of a hard gym workout feel to it than a traditional gloom time beatdown. After watching 0514 roll on to my watch, YHC sure was glad that two cars pulled in just in the nick of time. An intimate, hard, painful workout amongst friends was the order of the day, and a good day it was.
See ya sometime later in da gloom
