F3 Greenwood

9 PAX gathered to take on F3Greenwood’s self proclaimed (not proven) toughest workout of the week.  Each Friday we gather to honor the fallen and this week we honored Ryan Job.  You can read about him below.  Typically the workout is ramped up and “for time” which means you determine when the suck ends by getting through the work.

Good to see some new faces at Red Friday added to core of usual suspects.  The work went like this:

Ryan Job Hero WOD

3 Rounds for Time

20 Burpees

15 Pull-ups

60 Bonnie Blairs (count each leg)

25 Merkins

COT/BOM

  • I’m pretty sure a small hurricane blew through as we were finishing.
  • Aaron Tippin in 96 this summer for festivals of stars.  #whippinginthewind
  • Tootsie Roll tried to stop after round one, but pushed through once we explained.   Great job.
  • Speaking of Tootsie, dude was FNG on Tuesday and posted 3 times this week,  Fury, Fury, Red Friday.  That’s a heck of a start.
  • During the workout, Tootsie asked YHC how long I’ve been doing this.  To which I responded almost two years and I was coming off of an Achilles tear and 6 months of no activity whatsoever.  Judge Hairy then chimed in and stated that he started about 2 years and 95lbs ago.  Incredible the results for both of us.  This stuff works no matter where you start or where you are heading.  Just keep showing up.
