F3 Greenwood

When I pulled up to Fury at 4:55am, I started wondering if Alpo had pulled a fast one on me and changed the time back to 5:15am.  I had two immediate thoughts: 1) this stinks and 2) I can always go to the gym.  That’s when Duggar pulled up and eased my worries.

The Thang:

Ran to Chick-fil-A: 50 box jumps

Ran to circle at Merrywood: Backwards bearcrawl around circle.  Ran back to pull-up bar area.

Round 1: alternate exercises

50 merkins / 50 air squats

50 curls / 50 dips

25 pull-ups / 50 bent over rows

Round 2:

100 chest presses with coupon / 100 monkey humpers

25 curls with bricks while seated on coupon (25 each arm) / 25 overhead tricep extensions

50 overhead presses / 50 brick rows while seated on coupon

Round 3:

50 block merkins (lower body b/t two coupons) / 50 lunges (25 each leg)

50 close grip curls / 50 lying down brick tricep extensions

50 flutter kicks / plank

NMS:

Duggar and I were both surprised we were the only two there and came up with different theories as to why.  While we were running to Chick-fil-A, we passed Alpo (he beeped) and we thought he was late (we decided he could catch up – much love Alpo). I then realized Alpo may had the Q elsewhere and may have dropped off the flag (he did…thanks!).  The backwards bearcrawl around Merrywood’s circle was a crowd pleaser (it hurt like hell), so after 3/4 of the way I decided to get up and head back to the pull-up station because I knew more shoulders were in store.  When we arrived at the station, I cranked up the music and Duggar and I started throwing blocks everywhere.  There were only two of us, but we had 6 or 7 blocks lying around when the dust settled.  Duggar stated he did not feel cheated, so I felt good about the workout (I knew I was about to puke, but he’s not human).
