22 Pax were strong enough this morning to push of their covers and escape the confining clutches of the #fartsack. ‘Why?’ you ask. To get EPIC at the Epicenter with a game of Red Light / Green Light, of course.

Warm up
Imaginary Jump Rope – slow count to 30
SSH – 15(?) IC
LBC – 20 OYO
Fire Hydrant – slow count to 30 – each leg
Superman – slow count to 20 with a long pause between 19 and 20 so we could wave to the passers-by
5 minute Plank(crowd favorite)
- 60 sec Full Plank
- 30 sec Elbow Plank
- 60 sec Side Plank
- 60 sec Raised Leg Plank
- 30 sec Full Plank
- 60 sec Elbow Plank
Fire Hydrant (personal favorit) – slow count to 20 – each leg
After the warm up we proceeded to count off by 4s and get in groups and mosey over to the soccer field where the cones were spaced out. Unfortunately we didn’t get to play in the sprinklers this morning 🙁
The Thang
Red Light / Green Light
Round One
One pax from each group moseys to the adjacent cone, (+/-) 40 yards away. Once on the opposite side of the field he starts doing burpees. This pax is the stop light for the group.
Red Light = upright position
Green Light = horizontal position
The remaining pax sprint to the opposite cone under a green light and stop on red.
Don’t worry…
Everybody gets a turn as the stop light.
Round Two
Stop Light = Mexican Squat with a 180* twist.
Red Light = facing the group
Green Light = back to the group
Hop Scotch = 1 frog hop then 2 step lung walk
The remaining pax ‘Hop Scotch’ to the far cone under a green light and stop on red.
Everybody gets a turn as the stop light.
Round Three
Bring the far cone in 20 yards.
Stop Light = Burpee
Pax bear crawl to the far cone.
Round Four
Stop Light = Mexican Squat with a 180* twist.
Pax crab walk to the far cone
Round Five
Move the cones back out to the 40 yard mark and repeat Round One.
Some time during the middle of all this madness we had a 10 count from Duggar and then again from Lite Brite.
YHC would like to make a special note that there was surprisingly little mumblechatter during this workout.
Luckily there was no merlot splashed during this workout, but there were times that YHC felt as if something was about to come back up.
We finished up with a mosey around the soccer field; picking up trash while on the move before meeting back up at the shovel flag.
